Such a loving and vibrant church. Always made to feel so welcome. I look forward to my Sundays x
Friendly and welcoming church who are eager to make a real difference in their local community. The church has outgrown this building on Gore Road, so meets every Sunday morning at New Milton Memorial Hall. However, the New Life Church building is used for smaller events children's activities, baptisms etc. I've felt very welcomed since meeting here.

Our Lady of Lourdes Church. Mount Ave, New Milton Hampshire. Priests who have served New Milton Father Frances Pinkman 1927 - 1959. He was the first parish priest of New Milton. Father Thomas Lynch 1959 - 1962. Father Leo Power 1962 - 1977. Mgr Canon Patrick O’Mahoney 1977 - 1988. Father Frank Reynolds 1988 - 1997 Father Gerrit Vervenne 1997 - 2012 The Church was opened on the 10th July 1927 the cost of building the church , amounted to something in the region of £3000.00 which by the time the church was built had been received in donations. The new organ was dedicated on Friday 16th May 1986. It was built by Peter Collins of Redbourn. Many fine carved wooden statues adorn the Sanctuary. The figure on the crucifix and the statue of the good shepherd were both carved by an artist known as the Forest Carver. His studio was situated near Hinchelsea House between Brockenhurst and Wootton and he specialised in carvings of hunt scenes and forest animals. In the grounds of this church is a huge tree which covers most of the left hand side of the garden. This has now been taken down and a shrine erected in the grounds.
When I was fit, I attended this Church almost daily for Holy Mass. Our Lady of Lourdes, New Milton, Hants. It is a beautiful Church, well maintained with beautiful flowers, when the Seasons permit, e.g. not in Lent. There is now a very Spiritual Polish Priest, - Fr.Marcin Drabik. He arranges many devotional services during the week. Holy Mass is said every day at 10am including Saturdays, when there is also a Vigil Mass at 6.00pm. He also says an extra Mass, for the Polish Community, on Sundays at 6pm. In 2014 Fr.Marcin arranged a Pilgrimage, with help from parishioners, to Poland. This was well supported. In 2014, with the help of Brian Dempster, a Parishioner, Fr.Marcin arranged for the Church to have Live Streaming, so that anyone who could not attend the Services, could participate via viewing on the Television etc. This has proved a great asset, especially to me, as I am unable to attend the local Catholic Church on a regular basis. I am now in a Nursing Home in Ringwood,Hants..I would like to say more, but space prevents this. Mrs Maureen Wixley. May God bless all.
